Revisiting events from late 2013 and the first half of 2014, we find two milestones and one big event took place on the blog. Can you remember what they were? Or will you just jump in and read today's post to find out without even trying to think about it...
November 2013: Sanjit bowls 7 wides (mostly leg-sides) in one over. This is not one of the milestones or events that I mentioned in the introduction, but I know Sanjit remembers it. Not long ago, Matt bowled a large number of wide deliveries in one over, but Sanjit was quick to point out that he still has the record.
The two milestones that I mentioned came very close to each other...
On 15 November 2013 the 100th entry was posted on the blog. For that post I looked at stats about the blog itself, rather than about the indoor cricket that was being played.
On 20 December 2013 the team played their 200th official Popped Collars match (remember there was also game against Shaw as well that was declared "unofficial"). In that post I looked at all-time performances of the team and the players. It also included an enormous table listing the stats for every player to have ever played for the team!
After three seasons at Kaleen, we found a few new/extra players, and arranged a return to an 8-a-side competition - unfortunately, Weston was the "best" option. And equally unfortunately, we didn't do very well to start with.
July 2013 saw the most blogs ever posted in a month, thanks to the hosting of the Popped Collars World Cup! For me, the highlight was the fact that the final ended up being, entirely coincidentally, the pair which had the most ever seven hit.
If you want to remind yourself of how the world cup played out, here are the links:

Finally today, let's all remember the time Gareth pointed out how shit Dan's bowling figures were, and inspired a series of three blog posts.
